The Networks Financial Institute at Indiana State University has received another $6 million from Indianapolis-based Lilly
Endowment to fund research, education and policy advocacy on financial services issues.

The latest gift brings
to $29 million in total funding Lilly Endowment has given to Networks Financial since its inception in 2003.

The
institute has developed financial literacy programs for elementary students, such as Money Bus and Kids Count. Since
2006, those programs were used to instruct more than 10,000 Indiana grade schoolers in basic financial concepts, such as earning
income, developing budgets, saving and spending.

Also, Networks Financial hosts an annual insurance reform summit
in Washington, D.C., and conducts research about financial services. It has found that only one in four Americans feels well
informed about managing household finances.
