Grants
The Glick Fund awarded Herron High School $59,755 to expand the College Access program and advance the curriculum.

The Glick Fund and Giving Sum each granted $50,000 to Indy Reads to help establish Indy Reads Books, a community bookstore to be located on The Cultural Trail in downtown Indianapolis.

Erie Insurance awarded $2,500 grants to: Teachers’ Treasures, Sheltering Wings, Stepping Stones and Second Harvest Food Bank of East Central Indiana.

The Glick Fund awarded a $50,000 grant to Project Home Indy to aid in its efforts to help young mothers break the cycle of poverty and learn to become successful and self-sufficient.

In Recognition
Allisonville Elementary School received the Title I Distinguished School Award, which comes with a $50,000 grant.

Drew Miroff, Ice Miller LLP, was named one of Indy’s Best and Brightest, in the category of law, by Junior Achievement of Central Indiana.

Barnes & Thornburg LLP was listed nationally in 15 practice areas, with a First Tier ranking in Labor Law – Management, by U.S. News and World Report and Best Lawyers.

Judith Gilliam, Baker & Daniels LLP, received a Commander’s Award for Civilian Service from the United States Army in recognition of her consistently high quality legal skills, exceptional dedication, and service as a paralegal to wounded warriors.

Children’s Bureau Inc. has been reaccredited by the Council of Accreditation for meeting COA’s highest international standards in delivering services to children and families in central Indiana.

Jan Aikman Dickson has been inducted into the Warren E. Burger Society for demonstrating an exemplary commitment to improving the administration of justice.

The Greenwood Express Employment Professionals office received top honors at the Sales Summit regional meeting for excellence and achievement in sales, recruitment and job placement.•
