Singers Jennifer Nettles and Kristian Bush of the country duo Sugarland have been ordered to give depositions next month in lawsuits over August's deadly Indiana State Fair stage collapse.

Attorneys for stage builder Mid-America Sound Corp. had requested the depositions begin Monday, but Marion Superior Court Judge Theodore Sosin on Friday approved a request by the band's attorneys to reject that timetable.

Sugarland's attorneys said the band is preparing for a tour and proposed holding depositions in May.

Sosin instead ordered attorneys to provide dates and times between April 1 and April 15 in which the band members can testify.

Mid-America built the roof and rigging used to hold lights and sound equipment that collapsed Aug. 13 before the scheduled Sugarland concert. Seven people died and dozens were injured.
