The Little Red Door Cancer Agency received more than $3,700 raised at a 50th anniversary celebration for Mark M. Holeman Inc.

Grants
AccessABILITY Center for Independent Living received a $5,000 Quality of Life grant from the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation.

INDYCOG was given a $10,000 grant by Bikes Belong to help urban neighborhoods develop bicycle infrastructure plans.

The city of Noblesville received a $400,000 Brownfields Assessment grant from the Environmental Protection Agency.

Girl Scouts of Central Indiana was awarded $68,000 by the Nina Mason Pulliam Charitable Trust for its Girl Scouts Beyond Bars program which reaches out to daughters of incarcerated women.

Dr. Yang Sun, Dr. Brian Samuels and Dr. Rajashekhar Gangaraju of the Eugene and Marilyn Glick Eye Institute, received grants of more than $1.2 million for their glaucoma and diabetic retinopathy research.

YMCA of Greater Indianapolis received $130,000 from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s Community Transformation Grants Program to help ensure accessible health care, particularly for African-Americans and Hispanics with pre-diabetes.

The city of Greenfield received $20,000 from the Indianapolis Motor Speedway as winner of the annual Back Home Again in Indiana community decoration contest.

In Recognition
Intrapromote LLC, and its president Erik Dafforn, were honored by American Honda Motor Co. with a Premier Partner Award.

Robert J. Hicks and James A. Strain were ‘Top Ranked’ in the 2012 edition of Chambers USA. Nine other local Taft Stettinius & Hollister LLP attorneys were named “Leaders in their Field.”

The Hagerman Group was named 2012 Contractor of the Year by Top Notch of Indiana.

Sixty-five Frost Brown Todd attorneys and 15 practice areas were selected for inclusion in Chambers USA. Alan S. Brown and David T Kasper were ranked in Indiana’s Band 2.

Hannah Dolores Kassab earned the Girl Scout Gold Award from Girl Scouts of Central Indiana.
