Authorities say workers were evacuated from a Rolls-Royce facility near Indianapolis International Airport early Thursday because of an acid spill. A fire official said a valve failed, causing three types of acid to mix in an aluminum drum and eat through the drum. A hazardous materials team contained and neutralized the spill. No injuries were reported.
