Grants
Arts for Learning received a $5,000 grant from The Indianapolis Foundation to support the Arts for Summer Learning literacy program, a $5,000 grant from the Hendricks County Community Foundation to support arts integration partnerships in Hendricks County, a $3,000 grant from the Allen Whitehill Clowes Charitable Foundation and a $500 grant from the Ripley County Community Foundation.
Indiana Blind Children’s Foundation received a grant of $10,000 from the Howard Intermill and Marion Intermill Fenstermaker Fund to support development of a strategic plan.
Programs at 157 Marion County organizations received grants totaling more than $2.4 million from the Summer Youth Programs Fund.
Little Red Door Cancer Agency and Franciscan St. Francis Health won a Livestrong Foundation Community Impact Project award and will receive a $10,700 Vital Hearts: Secondary Trauma Resiliency Training grant.
Children’s Bureau Inc. was awarded grants of $50,000 by the Indianapolis Foundation for its children’s shelter and $216,700 by the Lilly Foundation for revenue diversification.
Riley Hospital for Children was the recipient of the first $100,000 grant from the Indiana First Lady’s Charitable Foundation to support the hospital’s art therapy program.
Hoosier Veterans Assistance Foundation received a $55,000 grant from the Wounded Warrior Project.
Purdue University received a gift of $1.7 million from Beck’s Hybrids for remodeling part of the Krannert Building and a Lilly Hall laboratory.

Key Auctioneers received eight awards, including Best in Show, from USA Today and the National Auctioneers Association.
Derrin Slack, Anthony Price Williamson, Mark Nicholson, Craig Peterson, Wayne DeVeydt and Mike Lydick were given Managed Health Services Heart of a Father awards by the Fathers and Families Center.
