Announcements
Community Solutions Inc., an Indianapolis-based human service and community development-consulting firm, is accepting applications for their 2015 Pro Bono client. Applicants must come from 501(c) (3) community-based organizations with agency budgets under $500,000 that have been operational for at least three years. The selected client will receive 120 hours of free services provided over a 12-month period. Organizations can apply at www.communitysolutionsinc.net and click on “Recent News.” Applications are due by March 13. Agencies will be notified by March 27.

Grants
The Mind Trust has been given a $1 million grant by Eli Lilly and Co. Foundation to help advance its goal of providing every Indianapolis student access to a high-quality public school.

Children’s Bureau Inc. received a grant of $300,000 from The Glick Fund.

Fifteen Central Indiana organizations that help the homeless received grants totaling $120,000 from the Realtor Foundation.

In Recognition
BPS Marketing Inc. received first place honors from the Indiana Association of Fairs, Festivals and Events for its 2014 Marion County Fair program book.

CloudOne was named winner of a 2015 IBM Beacon Award for Outstanding Continuous Engineering Solution.

Defender ranked 27th on Training magazine’s list of the top 125 companies with excellence in employer sponsored training and development programs.

Celadon Group Inc. was named the 2015 CCJ Innovator of the Year by Commercial Carrier Journal.

Dave Hornak, Scotty’s Brewhouse, was named outstanding restaurant manager of the year by the Indiana Restaurant and Lodging Association.
