Smart IT Staffing Inc said Wednesday morning that it plans to expand its Indianapolis headquarters, creating up to 80 new
jobs by 2014.

The company, which provides contract staffing and full-time placement services for companies seeking information technology
workers, said will invest more than $480,000 to lease and equip additional space at its downtown offices at One Indiana Square.

The Indiana Economic Development Corp. offered Smart IT up to $1 million in performance-based tax credits based on the company’s
job-creation plans. The city will consider additional property-tax abatement.

Smart IT, which now employs nearly 100 in Indianapolis, plans to begin hiring additional information technology professionals
this year.

Founded in 2005, Smart IT operates a second office in Cincinnati. Its clients include Sallie Mae, Simon Property Group and
the NCAA.

Smart IT, a minority and woman-owned business enterprise, had revenue of more than $9.7 million in 2009, up from $4.4 million
in 2007.
