Two coffee and brunch places have recently opened in Fishers.

The Well, a not-for-profit coffeehouse that got its start in Nashville, Tennessee, in 2012, has opened in The Edge at 116th Street and Lantern Road. It’s the first Indiana location for the business, which donates its proceeds to digging wells in drought-ridden third-world countries.

Carmel residents Debbie and Tony Zancanaro opened the Fishers location.

The Well sells a variety of specialty coffee drinks and bagged coffee, and has a breakfast and lunch menu.

Louisville-based Wild Eggs also opened at 13272 Market Square Drive in the Fishers Marketplace development earlier this month.

It is the third Indianapolis-area location for the breakfast and lunch restaurant. The Carmel location at 1438 W. Main Street opened in February and the downtown location at 314 N. Delaware St. opened in May.

The menu includes breakfast staples—pancakes, waffles, french toast and a lengthy list of egg entrees. The restaurant also offers biscuits and gravy, cinnamon rolls and crepes. The lunch menu features salads, sandwiches, burgers and soup.

IBJ’s Lou Harry visited the downtown location for a review in July.
