Not-For-Profit of Note

Trusted Mentors Inc. uses the power of mentoring to help adults establish stable lives by reducing the chaos brought about by poverty, homelessness, under-employment, and the effects of incarceration. Trusted Mentors is the expansion of Trusted Partners at Immanuel United Church of Christ into an independent agency. Trusted Partners was initiated by the Coalition for Homelessness Intervention and Prevention (CHIP) in support of the “Blueprint to End Homelessness”. The Blueprint calls for the use of volunteer mentors to strengthen the support network for homeless families and individuals.
