As a subscriber you can listen to articles at work, in the car, or while you work out. Subscribe NowWe were so close. Months ago, Indiana Sports Corp. set an internal goal of getting 100 companies to participate in the 2010 ISC Corporate Challenge. We ended up with a record 99 company teams and 4,500 participants, joining in two days of athletic competition, fitness and office camaraderie. We actually had hit our goal of 100 companies a few weeks ago until IBJ—part of the fabric of the central Indiana business community—withdrew its team.
So, make no mistake about it, we are calling you out, in your own publication. Indiana Sports Corp. has about 30 staffers; we both run the event and run in the event. We want to go head-to-head with Team IBJ next year! But, if you think you can’t rally the troops for an afternoon of running, cycling, bowling, cornhole, golf chipping, etc., at least have six employees come to Carroll Stadium for the 15 seconds it would take us to dominate you in the tug-of-war. It’s a grudge match!
Start your training this week by loading all those stacks of IBJ into your delivery trucks. Or better yet, tie a rope to that delivery truck and chase it around town. Whatever works. We will see you next September at the ISC Corporate Challenge! This is your last year of ducking Team ISC.
