October 23, 2010

The International Center of Indianapolis recently hired Indianapolis-based communications firm Hetrick to develop a branding campaign and to update and expand the center’s website.

The center, which was founded in 1972 to serve the needs of international guests attending the NATO Conference of Mayors’ meeting in Indianapolis, has grown into a clearinghouses of cross-cultural information and services, including citizen diplomacy, cultural and protocol training, and international relocation assistance.

“We chose Hetrick in part because of its long history of working for many of Indianapolis’ cultural institutions and its connection to many key players statewide,” said Diane Thomas, the International Center’s president and CEO. “Hetrick also expressed a clear understanding of the urgency and scope of what we need to accomplish as Indiana assumes a bigger role in the global economy.”

Hetrick will complete the branding and website initiatives by the end of 2010. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed.
