I was disappointed and frankly astounded at the incredible lack of balance and clear anti-Republican, anti-conservative message delivered in the Feb. 28 Forefront.

Starting with the Federalist message delivered by John Krull, which completely ignored both history and the 10th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, and ending with eight pieces written by either local Democrats or columnists for the notoriously liberal New York Times, I struggled to find any level of balance presenting conservative positions on the issues discussed.

I am not an advocate of the Fairness Doctrine, but if I wanted to read a plethora of anti-Republican New York Times pieces, I would subscribe to the New York Times.

I subscribe to IBJ for local business news and balanced, objective coverage. If the thought leaders you collect in Forefront continue to be similar to those in this week’s publication, presenting the Tea Party as “fueled by so much rage” and Republicans as destroyers of liberty, with nary a contrary voice, I will find another source for local business news. I suspect I will not be alone.
