Liberal journalism strikes again

July 13, 2009

What a disappointing [July 6 column by Chris Katterjohn]. You, like your other liberal, left-wing journalist pals, just cannot stand it when anyone disagrees with your point of view. To criticize someone for being unhappy with Obama (I shall never call him my president) is un-American.

Journalists can say disgraceful things (many outright lies) about President George W. Bush, John McCain and, especially your favorite whipping boy, Sarah Palin, but no one dare say anything negative about a Democrat and, more important, Obama.

It made me think that maybe we as a community haven’t come as far as I hoped we needed to get good journalism. It is very disappointing that you believe Americans have the right to disagree, but not the right to disagree with you or your views!
