The Indianapolis Museum of Contemporary Art has a knack for building exhibitions around pop culture phenomena.

First, there was the Post Secret exhibition, which drew unheard-of crowds to the Murphy Arts building through a February snowstorm to see some of the actual postcards that populate the Post Secret blog every Sunday.

Then there was the John Waters-themed exhibition “Body of Waters,” complemented by the cult director’s one-man show and a fundraising dinner.

Now, IMOCA presents the fine-art photography of Tabitha Soren. Yes, that Tabitha Soren, the former “MTV News” anchor who seemed to have disappeared from public life in the 1990s.

Soren and co-exhibitor Min Kim Park were scheduled to be in town June 1 for a First Friday reception for “The Natural World.” The show features Soren’s photographs of people running and Park’s video installation of people who feel comfortable in the nude. The theme is “man’s desire to stay above the world’s natural order.”

So what else has Soren been up to since the first Clinton presidency? If you’re one of those people who has read all of Michael Lewis’ books (“The Big Short,” “Moneyball,” etc.), including his memoir on parenting, you will know that Soren provided half the genetic material that inspired “Home Game: An Accidental Guide to Fatherhood.”
