Mayor Ballard joins infrastructure task force

April 20, 2013

Indianapolis Mayor Greg Ballard is among 17 mayors of large U.S. cities that joined a new infrastructure task force convened by the Clinton Global Initiative.

The Infrastructure Financing for Cities Task Force was formed by former President Bill Clinton’s not-for-profit and the U.S. Conference of Mayors. Chicago Mayor Rahm Emmanuel will be chairman of the task force, which is to focus on attracting investment to public projects that encourage economic growth.

The Clinton Global Initiative brings together leaders from business, government, labor and civil society to address the world’s most pressing challenges.
