Bif Ward leads real estate teams list yet again

Count ’em. Five years in a row that Bif Ward has led the All-Star Teams. In 2011 and 2012, the F.C. Tucker Co. team raked in a total of $104.5 million, up from $94.5 million in 2010 and 2011.

Coming in second was Dennis Nottingham of The Advanced Realty Team, with $101.7 million in volume. Nottingham shot up from No. 6 in last year’s ranking, a change he attributes to shifting from independent status to joining RE/MAX.

Third place belongs to Matt McLaughlin, another Tucker Team. McLaughlin racked up $97.4 million in sales.

The team category includes agents with assistants who perform non-clerical real estate functions. Ward’s team had four members; Nottingham, 17; and McLaughlin, seven.

How the rankings are compiled: IBJ has gathered its All-Star Agents list annually since 1997. Agents are ranked by their sales volume over a two-year period. The rankings are based on information gathered from questionnaires sent to the largest residential real estate agencies and other agents in the Indianapolis area. Results are based solely on agent’s responses. Only full-time agents are eligible for the list.•
