U/S Sports Advisors said it will spend $1.1 million on its office and technology infrastructure at 250 E. 96th St., to accommodate the expansion.
The firm, which has nine employees, said it will begin hiring immediately.
U/S Sports Advisors was founded in 2006 by its Chicago-based parent company, The Ungar Group. Its services include branding, marketing, public relations, merchandising and planning for sports-related clients, including sponsors, leagues, governing bodies, teams and athletes.
Some of its clients include St. Vincent Sports Performance, NASCAR, NBA Players Association, the Los Angeles Dodgers, and the American Motorcyclist Association.
The Indiana Economic Development Association offered Ungar Group $585,000 in tax credits that are conditional based on the success of the job-creation plans. It also offered $35,000 in training grants.
