RepuCare Inc., a health care staffing firm, said on Wednesday that it plans to expand its Indianapolis headquarters, creating
up to 82 jobs by 2015.
The company said it will lease 4,000 square feet at 9245 N. Meridian St. and will furnish the space with new information
technology, telecommunications systems and furniture.
RepuCare already has begun hiring additional employees in health care, account management and administration. The company
now has about 50 full-time and 50 part-time employees.
"We decided to expand our operations in Indiana because of the growth opportunities for our staffing and on-site health
care businesses [as well as a] business and political climate that facilitates entrepreneurial growth,” said Billie
Dragoo, founder and chief executive officer of RepuCare.
Founded in 1995, RepuCare provides staffing services to government health plans, hospitals, outpatient clinics and nursing
homes, as well as on-site health care services to employers. The company's notable customers include WellPoint, Eli Lilly,
Howard County and the cities of Indianapolis and Kokomo.
The Indiana Economic Development Corp. offered RepuCare, Inc. up to $1.23 million in tax credits and up to $75,000 in training
grants based on the company's job-creation plans. The city of Indianapolis plans additional incentives.
