EnVista LLC, a global supply-chain consulting and IT-services firm, is relocating its Carmel-based headquarters to accommodate expected growth.

The company, which employs 417 people globally and about 155 locally, has outgrown its 17,340-square-feet of leased space at 11711 N. Meridian St. and is moving to 11555 N. Meridian St., where it will occupy 20,472 square feet of leased space.

The move is part of the company's goal of hiring 25 employees by the end of the year. It hopes to be in the new space—which will have an open, warehouse feel common among tech startups—this summer.

“Moving to a new office building is a result of EnVista’s continued growth not only in supply chain and IT, but also in the retail technology sector," CEO Jim Barnes said in a written statement. He attributed the firm's recent growth to the launch of a new point-of-sale product and record quarterly sales for labor management and other projects.

"We look forward to hiring many more associates from Indiana this year and beyond, and we believe our new office space, which will feature a modern design with open seating, will be appealing to job seekers.”

The company, founded in 2002, serves mid-market organizations primarily in the retail, manufacturing, consumer goods, third-party logistics, media and publishing, food and beverage, healthcare and non-profit sectors.

It's been on the Inc. 5000 List since at least 2011 and ranked at No. 2019 on the 2015 list. That ranking reflected its $56 million in revenue the year before and its 195 percent, three-year growth rate.
