Gary contract ends for ex-Indianapolis airport CEO

One of the consulting contracts has ended between the former CEO of Indianapolis International Airport and the Gary/Chicago International Airport.

The contract John Clark had for business development work and to oversee the Gary airport's $166 million expansion project expired last week.

Clark's deal was approved by an airport board that's been replaced, and new Airport Authority chairman Tom Collins said there's been no discussion of a new contract with Clark.

The Times of Munster reported that JClark Aviation has been paid nearly $166,000 from last October through August. He's still owed for work performed since that time. Clark also has an airport contract for pursing a public-private partnership by year's end.

The Indianapolis airport board didn't renew Clark's CEO contract last year after controversy over trips to Brazil, Morocco and Switzerland
