WISH-TV Channel 8 is losing its affiliation with CBS-TV after nearly six decades, CBS Corp. announced Monday morning.
The CBS affiliate in the Indianapolis area will move from LIN Media's WISH and begin broadcasting on Tribune Broadcasting’s WTTV-TV Channel 4 on Jan. 1, 2015, the company said.
WISH has been the local affiliate for CBS since 1956.
With the CBS affiliation, WTTV will become the new home of the NFL's Indianapolis Colts.
