Dozens of dogs were taken from a pet rescue Thursday after the Muncie Animal Shelter received an anonymous tip about neglect and deplorable conditions. Some of the 63 dogs rescued from the Adopt-A-Lab facility had injuries, while others were sick. Authorities say the operators probably had good intentions but became overwhelmed. They surrendered the dogs to avoid possible prosecution.
