The Butler University campus was on lockdown Sunday for more than two hours after the armed robbery of a nearby pharmacy.
Two men robbed the CVS store at 119 W. 56th St. about 11:30 a.m. and were spotted on the campus minutes later after abandoning
their vehicle. Dallas Beard, 38, was arrested by Butler police but the other suspect escaped on foot. Police say the pair
may have been involved in other CVS robberies in Plainfield, Greenfield and Mooresville.
