Michigan-based Camryn Industries LLC has notified the state that all 250 employees at its Berne plant in northeastern Indiana will lose their jobs on Oct. 15.

Camryn Industries said in a notice received by the Indiana Department of Workforce Development on Monday that it is closing the facility as part of the factory’s sale to Visionary Technologies Inc., also based in Michigan.

The new owner has advised Camryn Industries that its workers can apply for employment with Visionary Technologies, according to the notice filed with the state.

Camryn Industries manufactures exterior mirrors and injection-molded parts for the auto industry.
