Columbia City-based Impact CNC LLC, a production machining company, announced Wednesday afternoon that it plans to add 106 jobs by 2014 as part of a $12.8 million expansion.

The company in northeastern Indiana, about 120 miles from Indianapolis, said the investment will go toward purchasing and equipping a 30,000-square-foot building. The new facility, which should be operational in February, will offer services for clients in the automotive, heavy truck and agricultural industries.

Impact CNC will begin hiring equipment operators, supervisors and support staff within the next few months.

The Indiana Economic Development Corp. said it will provide the company up to $550,000 in conditional tax credits and up to $80,000 in training grants based on its job-creation plans.
