A Greenwood-based tool and machine parts manufacturer plans to add up to 43 jobs in the next six months by combining operations from two other states, according to the Daily Journal newspaper in Franklin.

Nachi Technology said it will move operations from Michigan and North Carolina to its Greenwood facility at 715 Pushville Road.

The company plans to invest $2.5 million to purchase equipment and remodel the facility, including adding office space, the newspaper said.

Greenwood’s ability to offer tax incentives helped Nachi make the decision to merge the operations.
