Mary E. Ostrye will become Ivy Tech Community College’s next vice provost for academic affairs in January, the school announced Wednesday.

Ostrye, 52, will replace Marnia Kennon, who recently retired after more than two decades at Ivy Tech.

Ostrye has worked at Ivy Tech since 1992, most recently as vice chancellor of academic affairs at Ivy Tech's Lafayette campus. Her new job gives her oversight of 150 different academic programs at Ivy Tech’s 23 campuses around the state.
