An Indianapolis woman is recovering after being bitten multiple times by a pit bull Sunday afternoon near East 58th Street and Rural Avenue. The woman, who was visiting the home, was taken to Wishard Hospital in serious condition. A police officer was forced to shoot and kill the pit bull after it tried to attack him, too.
