An Ohio-based trucking logistics company plans to expand its operations in Indianapolis and add up to 25 jobs this year, primarily in sales.

Total Quality Logistics LLC said Wednesday morning that it plans to invest $1.3 million to outfit a 16,000-square-foot building at 8777 Purdue Road on the northwest side. The company employs 70 in Indiana and 2,000 nationwide.

The Indiana Economic Development Corp. has offered the company up to $200,000 in training grants based on the job-creation plans.

On its website, the company says it is seeking three types of employees in Indianapolis: a national sales recruiter, logistics sales account executives and logistics sales interns.
