Pearson Ford plans to open “Pearson Wholesale Parts” in early February at its Zionsville campus.
Owner John Pearson recently purchased the wholesale parts business of Paul Harvey Ford, which is ceasing operations after
more than 44 years. Harvey principals said recently that Ford Motor Co. is buying out the franchise near Lafayette Square.
Harvey’s parts business had 15 employees and six trucks, which supply a number of companies running fleets of Ford
vehicles, such as utilities and municipalities. Pearson said the wholesale parts business was a thriving part of the Harvey
dealership.
“We’ll have in excess of $1 million in inventory,” he added.
Pearson has been investing big bucks in recent years on projects such as massive expansion of the dealership’s collision
center and adding a Ford “Quick Lane” tire and battery franchise to service all makes and models of cars.
