College Mentors for Kids won $80,000 in products and services from a host of local companies in the Indy Business Makeover Competition. The winner was selected from among 10 finalists through online voting.

CEO Erin Slater said College Mentors’ need for new marketing materials and technology is growing along with the organization. College Mentors pairs kids and college students in weekly activities that expose young people to higher education. The organization serves 1,200 kids in Indiana, Illinois and Ohio.

College Mentors’ prizes include a new server and color printer from Port-to-Port Consulting, Web site and brochure design from Pivot Marketing, printing from Print Resources, and a new desk and reception area from Creative Office Solutions.

Other Business Makeover sponsors donating services are Compendium Blogware, Small Box Web Design, Tronitech, PHSIPure Water Tech and Royal Treatment Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning.
