An Indianapolis smoke shop owner has been charged with 18 felonies for allegedly selling the synthetic drug known as “spice,” which was outlawed this year by Indiana legislators. Investigators say they seized more than 1,000 packages of the substance at three locations of the Smoke Shop, which is owned by Christopher Tiplick. Tiplick had an initial hearing in Marion County Superior Court on Friday and will return to court in February.
