Michelle Hargraves, 44, unsuccessfully tried to alert 70-year-old Lois Sprinkle that her Beech Grove home was on fire by pounding on the door. She eventually broke open a window, climbed into the home and awoke Sprinkle. The fire, which started about 1:30 a.m., caused an estimated $70,000 in damages.
