Thousands of tickets remain for Monday night’s Final Four men's basketball championship game in Indianapolis between
the Butler University Bulldogs and the Duke University Blue Devils.

About 4,500 were still available before noon on game day, according to Palo Alto, Calif.-based FanSnap, a national ticket
search engine.

FanSnap spokesman Christian Anderson doesn’t consider the number excessive, though, because host venue Lucas Oil Stadium
has so many seats.

“The stadium seats 70,000,” he said, “so having 4,500 tickets on the market is not a huge number.”

Still more tickets are available through the NCAA’s Fan2Fan program, which allows those who purchased tickets to the
championship game to sell them back to the NCAA.

Most tickets resold to the NCAA through the program were returned by fans of Michigan State University and West Virginia
University, both of which lost in the semifinal round on Saturday.

Butler squeaked by Michigan State 52-50, and Duke routed West Virginia 78-57.

So many tickets were being returned that the NCAA suspended the program at 1 a.m. on Sunday. But NCAA spokesman Erik Christianson
said Monday morning that the program has been resumed, and the NCAA will accept tickets until 6 p.m.

Monday's game tips off at 9:21 p.m.
