Benner column provides hope

Regarding your [Bill Benner’s July 20] column about your mom and Lance Armstrong, you’ve done it once again—inspired
me to keep my head up, my courage intact and my positive attitude working overtime. I am active on a couple of cancer forums
and have posted the link on those so that others facing cancer can read your inspirational words.

I, too, wear
a yellow wristband in support of everyone going through this terrible disease.

Thanks for writing such a wonderful
column, full of hope and encouragement to those of us who could use a little of that right now.
