Officials at Holiday World & Splashin' Safari in southern Indiana announced plans Tuesday for a major new water-slide attraction as part of $6.5 million in projects planned ahead of the park's 2013 season.

The RhinoBlaster slide will have four tubes following different routes, with the longest going 350 feet with a large outdoor half-pipe-style section.

Other projects planned at the park in Santa Claus include 20 additional cabanas, more misters and fans, and added shade structures and seating

The park, about 35 miles east of Evansville, has drawn more than 1 million visitors annually during recent summer seasons.
