Ten mayors from across central Indiana gathered at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway on Tuesday for this year’s edition of Meet the Mayors: A State of the Region Event.
The expansion includes a major corporate relocation by JD Finish Line and the development of a new fieldhouse and 166 apartments and 98 townhomes by Buckingham Properties.
Indy Economic Development Inc. is creating a matrix that rates proposed data center projects to determine whether — or to what extent — such projects deserve city incentives.
The hearing examiner said that DC Blox ultimately proved that the project fit the industrial site and that commitments made by the company addressed most neighbor concerns.
