  1. Until Marion County wakes up and starts incarcerating violent felons, crime will remain out of control. Also, while these criminals may not be the sharpest knives in the drawer, they’re smart enough to know that they can cross the county border and do bad stuff there too. The difference: they’ll be held accountable.

    1. The doughnut counties are just as bad, if not worse. Finkam was covering her ass because the person she complained about had been a problematic resident of Carmel for 20 years and the majority of his priors were in the suburban counties, the most recent of which being Hancock.

Republicans don’t want to take responsibility for their failures, so they take pot shots at Indy.

    2. Until our state legislature wakes up and stems the flow of guns into our communities, crime will remain out of control. Republicans sure love to complain about issues that they cause and have no real interest in fixing, because then they wouldn’t be able to score easy political points or dangle red meat for their vicious, blood-thirsty base

    3. I’d have to defend John S’s statement, until we get a new prosecutor who is more interested in taking criminals off the streets than he is about his “conviction rate” we will continue to have dangerous criminals on the streets creating mayhem. Carmel does a very good job at capturing and prosecuting criminals and then publicizing the consequences of crime. You will get caught and you will get prosecuted.

  2. Hogsett is ful of SXXT~~~~. where is he getting his info..maybe he needs to get out of his basement on the weeks, put the bottle down and spent some time on the streets…..he is lost in space ya’ll.

Just saying. Marion County scores a C+. The surrounding counties all score much better.
