Indianapolis fire officials say they've ruled out arson in a fire that swept through a hangar at Indianapolis International Airport, causing $7 million dollars in damage to the building.

The fire broke out Sunday in a 30,000-square-foot building near a former terminal at the airport. No injuries were reported.

The Indianapolis Airport Authority leases the hangar to ComLux Aviation Services, which uses it to maintain and refurbish business aircraft.

"Fortunately there were no injuries as a result of the fire on Sunday at the small aircraft maintenance facility located in Hangar 5 on Cargo Drive," Ettore Rodaro, President of Comlux USA, said in a prepared statement. "The damage estimates are currently being assessed and all aircraft owners have been notified. We are relocating our staff operations and will be fully functional as of [Tuesday]. The separate Comlux facility for large aircraft completions was not affected."

Investigators haven't yet assessed the damage to the four jets inside the hangar.

An electrical short is suspected of starting the blaze.
