Digital marketing firm Raidious LLC said Thursday that it plans to expand its downtown Indianapolis headquarters, creating
up to 75 jobs by 2016.
The company, which currently has 20 Indianapolis employees, began its expansion this fall by leasing 2,800 square feet of
office space in the Morrison Opera House, 47 S. Meridian St.
Raidious, founded in 2009, said it helps brands engage with audiences by making, managing, monitoring, moderating
and measuring content across all of a brand's owned media. The company boasts on its website that it can do this better
than agencies or PR firms because it operates like CNN, except for brands rather than news.
The company is one of dozens of so-called measured-marketing firms in Indianapolis making everything from blogware to e-mail
marketing software used worldwide.
“So many measured-marketing companies call Indianapolis home, and that has created an environment for us to thrive
here," Raidious CEO Taulbee Jackson said in a statement. "Our universities are way ahead of others as it relates
to the work we do, especially Ball State.”
The Indiana Economic Development Corp. offered Raidious up to $800,000 in performance-based tax credits and up to $42,000
in training grants based on the company's job-creation plans. The city of Indianapolis will consider additional property
tax abatement.
