On The Beat Industry News In Brief

A second valet parking service begins operations May 15 at Indianapolis International Airport.

CurbsideValet is on the north end of the terminal, along the departure-level curb. Customers will hand their keys to an attendant and, upon return, either stop by the valet booth or call ahead of arrival.

The rate is $10 for the first hour and $5 for each additional hour, for a maximum daily price of $26. Value-added services include car wash and detailing.

CurbsideValet is a joint venture of Parking Solutions for Airports and Global Parking System Inc.

Also operating a valet service at the airport is Express Valet, which is based on the third level of the airport’s parking garage.
