Six local Golden Corral restaurants and 13 other Golden Corral locations in Indiana have changed hands under a sale announced
Thursday.
Cincinnati-based Frisch's Restaurants Inc. on Thursday said it would sell the Indiana locations as well as locations
in Ohio, Kentucky, West Virginia and Pennsylvania to Golden Corral Franchising Systems Inc. The Raleigh, N.C.-headquartered
company exercised its right of first refusal under a contract negotiated between Frisch's and Atlanta-based NRD Holdings
LLC earlier this month.
Publicly held Frisch's said terms will be disclosed after the close of the transaction, which is expected prior to the
May 29 end of its fiscal year.
Local locations are in Greenwood, Noblesville and Plainfield, and in Indianapolis on east, north and west sides.

Laura-the festivals and tastings are free. What does is strengthen the sense of community with activities. What are those empty lots doing for the Village? it's sad you can't see the good that this progress can do for the area. No one is requiring anyone to shop there. I guess you'd rather see a Dollar store move in or no, we'd rather see the property stand empty b/c change is out of the question.
