JPMorgan Chase
Jared Davis serves some of Indiana’s top middle-market business leaders, helping them address their needs and meet their goals. As part of his role at JPMorgan Chase, he manages a portfolio that generates more than $11.5 million in annual revenue and $700 million in credit exposure. Under his leadership, his area added 27 clients, resulting in more than $20 million in new revenue. “I’m grateful for these opportunities to make an impact, in some cases helping business leaders make the biggest decisions of their lives,” he said. Outside of work, Davis was a Class VI Mitch Daniels Leadership Foundation Fellow and an inaugural member of the Young Association for Corporate Growth Committee, which formed in 2018 to attract and develop mergers and acquisitions talent in central Indiana.
Getting here: Davis joined JPMorgan Chase as a summer intern in college and returned full time after graduation as an analyst. Over the last 13 years, he’s progressed throughout the firm, supporting multiple teams.
First job: Little League baseball umpire. “This position taught me perseverance, grit and the value of a hard-earned dollar.”
Givebacks: board member and Young Association for Corporate Growth advisory committee chair for ACG Indiana; member, Penrod Society
Meaningful moment: In 2019, he joined the bank’s newly formed middle-market banking group and served as the office’s resource manager, overseeing local talent. That same year, he graduated with his MBA and welcomed his daughter into the family. “This was one of my busiest years, but also one that cemented my interest in commercial banking and a desire to be [a] leader in the central Indiana community,” he said.
Lesson learned: The importance of balance. “While it’s important to consistently invest in your skill set, it’s also important to give back outside of work. I take great pride in being a Hoosier.”•
