The national Republican Party is a chaotic mess. It has now trickled down into Indiana State politics. Until they get back to conservatism without radicalism, I am voting Democrat.
This is much ado about nothing. Braun will win the Governorship and Trump will win Indiana by about 12%. Although I would have rather seen McGuire get the nod the people have spoken. That is what makes our country still the best in the world.

Indiana Republicans keep selecting awful candidates because there is no effective deterrent to doing so, not since 2012. They can nominate any fool and they get elected. The slide will continue, to our detriment, until they lose an election.

By the way, in the case of Carson, maybe Indiana Republicans would beat him if they didn’t gerrymander the districts such that Indianapolis southsiders have to share a congressional representative with Richmond.
