Tom Gallagher’s recent column [“Bike more and ‘drive steady’ for a more sustainable city, Oct. 22] refers to the jackrabbit start-stop driving pattern as “aggressive driving.”
Instead, it should be called “dumb driving” and publicly branded as such.
Perhaps that could help persuade some to drive more sensibly and safely.
