  1. Obviously you didn’t read Jim Jordan’s pronouncement – “real Americans are over Covid”. History will not be kind to those who profit politically while costing thousands of lives and untold billions in waste.

  2. Please note that they state “staffed beds”, not total beds. The rise in the percentage is heavily influenced by the reduction in staff. Maybe you should focus on why there are fewer staff and the poor decisions that led to the situation, but that preclude manipulating the headline.

    1. The IBJ has written numerous stories about hospital staffing shortages and the steps they are taking to cope. Also, this headline clearly states that the record is for “staffed beds.”
