San Francisco-based tech giant Salesforce is granting $1 million to Indianapolis Public Schools as part of nationwide series of grants worth $25 million intended to address students’ social, emotional and mental health.

IPS is expected to use the money to create sensory-friendly environments for struggling students, peer mentors and professional development sessions on social and emotional learning, according to a media release from Salesforce.

In addition to IPS, the grants support four other school districts—San Francisco Unified School District, Oakland (California) Unified School District, Chicago Public Schools and New York City Department of Education—and several not-for-profit education groups.

Since 2013, Salesforce has donated more than $165 million to benefit education providers and initiatives around the world. Salesforce’s Marketing Cloud division is based in Indianapolis.

Salesforce provides customer relationship management software and applications focused on sales, customer service, marketing automation, analytics, and application development.
