Anyone who has a problem with drug or alcohol addiction has my empathy and support—right up until they endanger my life or the lives of others by choosing to get behind the wheel of a vehicle [March 24 Morris column].
All the good Jim Irsay may have done and all the money he may have donated would be pocket change compared to an innocent life lost in a car wreck.
He has my best wishes and I hope he gets his life under control, but he has done nothing to “deserve” my support.
