    1. I wish Indiana’s ruling class would be willing to hike taxes so we’d have more cops, fewer potholes, better schools, neighborhood sidewalks, etc.). It’s true: you get what you pay for…and you don’t get what you don’t pay for.

  1. This state has plenty of money already. Look at the budget surpluses. What Indianapolis (and the bulk of the tax payers in Indiana) doesn’t have is our “fair share” of road funds.

    When a small county gets as much as we do because of a flawed funding mechanism, you get the crappy roads we have.

    As far as police officers are concerned, it is getting to a critical point where forces cannot even get enough qualified candidates to fill training classes. A direct result of cops being being often times painted in a negative light due to a very tiny number of bad actors.
